Version 3.8, a major release, includes:

This section describes the new features that we are releasing with version 3.8.

1 - Coro console

The following features have been added to the Coro console:

1.1 - Onboarding for new workspaces

Coro now provides a Setup Hub onboarding checklists in the Coro console for new workspaces, customized to the modules enabled in each workspace.

1.2 - Hierarchy tree for global view Workspaces page

Coro now offers a hierarchy tree view on the global view Workspaces page, allowing MSP admin users to explore the full workspace structure without pagination. Selecting a workspace displays its details, including:

  • Open tickets
  • Protected and potential users
  • Protected devices
  • Workspace labels
  • Global policy
  • Subscription status
  • Subscription plan

1.3 - Security gaps

The following security gaps have been added and are available in both workspace and global views:

  • Cloud Security
    • No Cloud Application Connected
    • No Access Permission Rules Configured
  • Devices
    • Coro Agent Protection Limited by Security Software Conflict
  • Endpoint Data Governance
    • Privacy Sensitive Data Types Not Configured
  • User Data Governance
    • Privacy Sensitive Data Types Not Configured

1.4 - Workspace filter for global view Actionboard

Coro now includes a workspace type filter on the global view Actionboard with options for all workspaces (trial and subscription) or only subscription workspaces. All panels update based on the filter, except the workspace status panel.

1.5 - Date range filter for Coro Insights

You can now filter data by date range in Coro Insights views for both single workspace and global views.

1.6 - Agent health filter in Devices page

An Agent health subgroup has been added to the Groups filter on the Devices and Global devices pages, enabling admin users and MSP admin users to filter devices experiencing Agent-related problems, including required device restarts, conflicts with other antivirus products that may affect Coro’s Agent performance, or devices running outdated Agent versions.

1.7 - Remote shell support for Linux devices

Coro now supports remote shell access on Linux devices.

2 - Cloud security

The following feature has been added to the Cloud Security module:

2.1 - Detect when MFA is enabled or not in connected cloud applications

Coro now detects and displays multi-factor authentication (MFA) enrollment status for protected users across supported cloud applications in the Protected Users page. Admin users can:

  • View MFA enabled and MFA not enabled labels per user, per application
  • Filter users by MFA status
  • See MFA status on both global and single workspace views
  • Monitor MFA status counts for each application

The supported applications are:

  • Google Workspace
  • Microsoft 365

To enable MFA status detection for Microsoft 365, admin users must grant Coro the UserAuthenticationMethod.Read.All permission.

To grant this permission, select Connected (Additional setup required) next to the Microsoft 365 cloud application and follow the instructions. For more information, see Securing the Microsoft 365 connection.

3 - Email security

The following features have been added to the Email Security module:

3.1 - UI indication for users impacted by delete external auto-forwarding rules policy

In the Protected Users page, Coro now shows whether each user is affected by the Delete external auto-forwarding rules feature. Admin users can also filter the users list by enabled or disabled.

4 - Data governance

The following features have been added to the Endpoint Data Governance and User Data Governance modules:

4.1 - Brazil sensitive data detection

Coro now detects the following sensitive data types:

  • Brazilian Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (CPF)
  • Brazilian Passport Number
  • Brazilian Bank card number
  • Brazilian Driver’s License Number (CNH)
  • Brazil legal entity number (CNPJ)

5 - Security Awareness Training

The following features have been added to the Security Awareness Training (SAT) module:

5.1 - Multi-language support

Coro now enables admin users to select the default locale for simulation emails. The selected language localizes content (for example, language, currency, location) in phishing simulations for all enrolled users.

For training courses, users can now choose the language they wish to use at the start of the course.

Choose from:

  • English (US): US region workspaces only
  • English (UK)
  • English (AUS): US region workspaces only
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • French (France)

5.2 - Selection by user label

During activation, Coro enables admin users to assign SAT to selected users. This release extends user selection options by adding user labels.

6 - Coro AI

The following feature has been added to Coro AI:

6.1 - AI security gap misconfiguration summary report

The Coro AI assistant can now summarize all active security gaps in both global and single workspace views, and provides recommendations to help strengthen your organization’s security posture.

Enhancements

Version 3.8 introduces the following additional changes:

1 - Cloud security enhancements

1.1 - IP address exclusion

In the Cloud Security page, the VPN Exclusions section in the Settings tab has been renamed to IP Address Exclusions. The updated description clarifies that these exclusions apply specifically to Cloud Security policies.

2 - SWG enhancements

2.1 - Changes to DNS filtering while disabled

You can now make changes to the DNS filtering section of Secure Web Gateway (SWG) while filtering is disabled. Any changes go into effect after DNS filtering is enabled.
