v3.4.2 March 30, 2025
Version 3.4.2, a minor release, includes:
New features
This section describes the new features added in version 3.4.2.
1 - New data governance settings
Coro's new data governance settings simplify data privacy configuration, enabling:
- Industry-specific detection settings : Select the industry that best matches your organization. This helps Coro tailor data detection settings based on industry-specific best practices.
- Automated sensitive data type recommendations : Coro recommends sensitive data types based on your selected industries, helping to reduce ticket fatigue by minimizing unnecessary ticket generation.
- Configuration customization : Modify existing configured industries and sensitive data types based on your organizational requirements.
Important
For existing workspaces with preconfigured data privacy settings, Coro automatically assigns your industry to Other.
Coro migrates sensitive data types selected before v3.4.2 as follows:
Previous data type | New data type |
---|---|
PCI | Credit Card Data |
PII | Personal Data |
PHI | Health Data |
NPI | Non-Public Data |
Coro continues to scan for PCI, PII, PHI, and NPI but categorizes them under the new data types.
